Paper Trunk Contest Winner!
I created this layout for the March contest over at www.scrap4life.com and it ended up being chosen as the winning layout!
Scrap Street Star Contest!
I have been participating in a scrap contest over at http://www.scrapstreet.com/ for the past few weeks. We are heading into the final week, sure hope I make the cut on Sunday into the finals! Here's a peek at what I have did so far:
Friends: In challenge we needed to find inspiration from some fashions from Paris Fashion Week. I got my color combo from an outfit.

Dream: This challenge focused on photography. We studied the photography skills of Annie Leibovitz and took inspiration to snap one of our own.
If you are looking for a great challenge or two to complete this week, head on over to http://www.scrapstreet.com/ and go to the Scrapstreet Star Forum and you will find a bunch of great challenges to participate in!

July 4th: This challenge was focused on using stars.
My Girl: This challenge we needed to define what our style was and do our best layout in that style. I called my style "Shabby-Frilly-Flowery-Bling-A-Licious".

Challenge layouts
This was for a clear embellishment challenge. I used Heidi Swapp ghost snow flakes, a MME transparent frame, acyrlic letters and gems.
This is for a Bling challenge. I used two Prima Say It With Crystals flourishes, American Crafts glitter Thicker letters, Bazzill Bling bloom and Bling cardstock, clear Stickles on the green flower and rubbed into each corner of the background paper, and a Making Memories crystal brad as the flower center.
This one was for a "make your own embellishment" challenge. I did the flower by floding 8 circles to make the flower petals, stamped a circle of transparency sheet with Staz-on ink to mimic a Maya Road sheer journal spot. I also did the same to create the alphabet border. I cut the title letters from chipboard and covered with Stickles. The flourishes are 3 layers of cardstock to create the depth of chipboard as I couldn't cut chipboard with my QK.4 Scrappy Sisters April Kits...now available!
